Samaritan Hospital's parking structure and across from McDonald's.
Turn right on Keeneland
Drive between small stone gateposts, and then left behind Hospital
Hospitality for free parking)
These are some simple
requirements for hospital personnel to address prior to making a
referral. Please review these guidelines to streamline the referral
process:

An authorized
hospital staff member must initiate the referral of a guest.

Guests must not
reside or work in Lexington/Fayette County.

There must be an
admitted patient in your hospital for whom the guest is a
caregiver as a family member, loved one or
selected/pre-approved out-patient.

The hospital staff
member must pre-screen all potential guests for good health
prior to a referral. We are unable to serve individuals who are
ill or in need of
continuing care (i.e. apparatus requiring electrical support, or
suspected
of alcohol/drug intoxication and treatment.

Explain our
lodging/accommodations to the guest: Guests will not have a
private
hotel suite, but will room with other guests in a dorm style
setting and share
bath facilities.

HHH (254-8998) to check for available beds!
Information for Referral:
-
To confirm the
reservation, please FAX a referral form to our office (255-5185)
with the name and gender of each guest
[1-female (Ashley Jones), 1-male (Frank Smith)]

Registration for
new guests is required by 7:00pm their first evening. The house
is locked each night at 10:00pm and all guests must be on the
premises by then
unless they're staying overnight at the hospital with the
patient. HHH must be
notified of this decision prior to 10:00pm.

Please instruct
your referrals (guests) to call HHH for cancellations if they
are not
coming. Other guests need their bed, so please continue to serve
as many people
as possible!
