HHH is a
non-profit corporation and charitable organization not
affiliated with any of the Lexington Area Hospitals. Our mission
is to provide overnight lodging for individuals that have loved
ones admitted to a hospital, based on need and referred by
hospital staff.
Being a non-profit
organization there is no inflow of money to help run the
Hospitality House. All services at the house operate by
donations, so guests are asked to please make a suggested
donation of $10.00/day to assist with the operational costs for
their stay. Therefore, in order to meet our annual operating
cost of around $160,000 we have to rely on donations. These
donations can come in the form of monetary donations from
individuals (including guests), organizations, corporations, and
grants from private firms.

Volunteer Opportunities
Able-bodied volunteers are always
needed to do some of the miscellaneous chores in and around the
house. Volunteering at the Hospitality House is never boring as we
always have new guests with new stories. It can be a heartwarming
and rewarding experience for individuals or groups of any age, as
well as a great help to us! If you are interested in donating your
time and services, please
